What exactly is Botox?
Botox is a prescription medication used to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles on the face. It is given by injection only. Because it is a prescription medication and knowledge of proper placement of injections is required for optimal results, it can only be prescribed by an actual medical doctor.
What issues can Botox help address?
Botox is used to reduce the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows, known as glabellar lines. It is also effective for treating laugh lines, crow’s feet, and other wrinkles. Generally, if your concerns are in the upper ⅔ of your face then Botox is the best treatment option.
Who can get Botox?
We recommend Botox as a suitable treatment for anyone between the ages of 18 and 65 years old with no underlying conditions or allergies that would prohibit the use of this medication.

Because Botox is a prescription medication, it is impossible to tell you how much you would need without a consultation with one of our physicians. He or she will assess you and customize a treatment amount for you. Botox is not a one-size-fits-all solution.
Are Botox injections painful?
You will be happy to hear that the needles used for Botox injections are extremely small. You may feel some slight discomfort but it should be minimal. We do everything we can to minimize discomfort for our clients.

For most patients, it lasts 3 to 4 months. Of course, every person’s body is different and results will vary from individual to individual. For some, it may last up to 6 months even.

We would never expose our clients to anything that would dangerous for them. In fact, Botox was approved for medical use before it became a cosmetic treatment. Millions of people have safely used it to achieve their desired results. To be considered toxic, you would need to be injected with around 100 times the average dose used for cosmetic purposes.
